Robotics Club advances to state competition

The Maryville Robotics Club had two teams place at the Platte County Pirates’ “Battle at the Brig” VEX Robotics Tournament earlier this month, according to the Maryville Forum. One team took home a first place trophy and automatically qualified for the state competition on March 9.

    Buchanan County and the City of St. Joseph opened the application window for individuals and organizations to apply for a portion an of $156,000 in annual opioid settlement funding, according to the News-Press Now. Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on March 15 and can be found at www.stjoemo.org/.

  • Robotics team competes in competitions

    The Platte Valley N.E.R.D.S. robotics team finished in seventh place against 28 teams at the KC East League Tournament earlier this month, according to the Maryville Forum. The alliance won three of the four matches in the playoff matches and advanced to the Missouri Kansas City West Super Qualifier last weekend.
