Maryville Public Library received a $50,000 grant from the Bolger Foundation for the restoration or historically-accurate replication of its 1912 windows. The grant is on the condition that the library raise at least $200,000 for the project through its Second Century Library Fund Foundation in 2024 and 2025, according to a press release. Reversing deterioration of the windows is the first step in a broader capital fundraising campaign to update the library’s downtown building.
