Downing Pediatrics opened a new Pediatric Urgent Care location in St. Joseph, according to News-Press Now. The facility, located at 1918 North Woodbine Road, is open to all children aged newborn to 18-years and will be from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
The Maryville High School Vocal Music Department will present its Sweet Sounds of Spectrum concert on Saturday and Sunday. The fundraiser will be at the Lee and Nina Schneider Center for the Performing Arts at the high school. Tickets are $5 and are available at the door.

The Platte Valley N.E.R.D.S. robotics team finished in seventh place against 28 teams at the KC East League Tournament earlier this month, according to the Maryville Forum. The alliance won three of the four matches in the playoff matches and advanced to the Missouri Kansas City West Super Qualifier last weekend.
